The Museum of Pioneer History is dedicated to the preservation of local history and the education of future generations in their heritage. Exhibits include pioneer life, Indian removals of the late 19th century and a celebration of past and present residents.
Housed in the historic Chandler Armory Building, this Route 66 Interpretive Center keeps the historic route alive through interactive videos, Model A Fords from the Dust Bowl era, Mustangs from the 60s, virtual hotel rooms of early travelers, billboards reminiscent of those seen along the eight-state route and more. Open Tuesday through Sunday in summer months, Tuesday through Saturday in winter.
