Situated along US Highway 69 on the edge of Atoka, the Confederate Memorial Museum consists of a museum, confederate Confederate cemetery, information center and a rest stop with picnic areas and a pavilion. The museum opened in 1986 and offers a look into the varied history of southeastern Oklahoma, including pre-historic bones, the Trail of Tears exhibits to the area's famous musicians. Open Monday though Friday.
